Mission Statement

Our mission is to promote fancy mice as pets and educate the public about these wonderful creatures. Additionally, we hope to provide fancy mouse breeders a place to showcase their mice and incentive for them to improve their mouseries.

Position Statements

We are neither for, nor against, the raising of mice as feeders. Mice constitute a large portion of the diet of many wild animals kept in captitivty today. We do, however, feel that it is important that even feeder mice are treated humanely and killed in as humane a manner possible.

We are officially neutral on the ethics of culling litters. Whether or not you choose to cull, we feel that all mice which are killed, whether for feeders or to reduce litter size, should be killed as humanely as possible.

We are officially neutral on line and inbreeding. It has both benefits and risks and only each individual can choose whether or not they think one side outweighs the other.
